These new solutions will be joined at the show by the IneoQuest family of products that support Apple's HTTP Live Streaming Protocol for complete end-to-end video and transport quality management, efficient network operations and improved subscriber experience.
What: IneoQuest's demonstration of its family of products that support
the Apple HTTP Live Streaming Protocol, including the Cricket HLS
and IQSegVue, the industry's first and only solutions for real-time
monitoring, analyzing and reporting of the quality of streaming
content to the Apple iPhone.
Who: IneoQuest Technologies, the global provider of advanced quality and
service assurance solutions for digital video.
When: November 17-19, 2009.
Where: Streaming Media West 2009, San José McEnery Convention Center, San
José, CA. Demonstrations will be held in the IneoQuest booth, #420.
Content providers and mobile network operators can leverage IneoQuest's Geminus(TM), Cricket(TM) and new Cricket HLS probes to monitor, test and gather data about the video and transport quality before and after the content is segmented by Apple's HTTP Live Streaming Protocol. Traditional and HTTP-transport metrics, such as HTTP-based file loss, bitrates and outages, as well as audio quality issues, are delivered to IneoQuest's iVMS(TM) management system for integrated analysis and reporting. Using these products together, content providers and mobile network operators can pinpoint the exact location of a failure and promptly troubleshoot before the subscriber is impacted.
For field troubleshooting, the IQSegVue can be used to monitor the quality of streaming content at the delivery point. As a video player on an iPhone or iPod touch®, IQSegVue allows field technicians to display live video broadcast sessions to evaluate the Quality of Experience in real time, providing immediate statistics and measurement data about video quality metrics to identify failures in the field and remotely troubleshoot issues.
