BRANSON, Mo., March 28, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Black Oak Grill, an American Tavern concept offering comfort cuisine, opened Tuesday, March 27, 2012 in Branson, Missouri at 601 Branson Landing. Located in the city's premier shopping destination, Branson Landing, Black Oak Grill will serve familiar American dishes with a chef-inspired twist. These memorable dishes and drinks will utilize only the freshest ingredients.
The black oak tree took root in American, creating a common and distinctive backdrop to the land. Branson's Black Oak Grill finds its roots in America's neighborhood cafes and corner taverns. While sipping handcrafted infused Front Porch Sipper, a favorite wine or a premium ice cold beer, guests can enjoy Light Plates offerings including Stone Country Fried Goat Cheese, Idaho Trout Deviled Eggs or Smoked Pork Sliders. Entree-sized salads range from Crispy Buttermilk Battered Chicken to the signature Black Oak with smoked almonds, apple, blue cheese and maple pecan vinaigrette. Specialties include classics like the Chicken Fried Flat Iron Steak, topped with chop house mushroom gravy, Iron Skillet Trout and more. Bite into the Balk Knobber Pulled Pork Sandwich, Five Grilled Cheese or the Ozark Bacon Burger. Satisfy a sweet tooth with a dessert such as a Bacon Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sandwich, Rum Runner Coconut Cake or a Kahlua Ding Dong.

Bread maker Neighbor's Mill delivers daily all-natural handcrafted bread baked fresh by the master baker from whole-grain flour milled on site.
Black Oak Grill is one of 115 restaurants throughout the U.S., United Kingdom, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates operated or franchised by Consolidated Restaurant Operations Inc. (CRO, Inc.), Dallas. TX. CRO also operates Cantina Laredo at Branson Landing.
