MakeMusic, Inc. (NASDAQ: MMUS) is the recipient of a Minnesota Tekne Award for Finale SongBook™, the free iPad app that allows musicians to view, print, and play music anywhere.
The Tekne Awards honor those who play a significant role in discovering new technologies that educate, improve lifestyles and impact the lives and futures of people living in Minnesota and all over the world. On November 1, in a ceremony at the Minneapolis Convention Center, the Minnesota High Tech Association (MHTA) presented awards in fifteen categories to recognize the best and brightest in technological innovation, development, commercialization and management in Minnesota.
MakeMusic’s Finale SongBook won the Mobile & Communication Technologies Award, which honors innovation in mobile applications and electronic communication.
