Last week, Forrester released its 2012 U.S. Auto Insurance Secure Site Report. State Farm, on the strength of significant improvement in content and functionality, moved from last place in 2010 up to a share of the top ranking this year. A perfect score in the value category, as well as notable increases across all four user experience sections earned State Farm a tie for the number one spot.
In its September 2012 competitive review, KLI awarded State Farm the top mobile website for the fifth consecutive quarter. KLI noted a comprehensive mobile site with both acquisition and account management tools, in addition to multiple best-in-class features, as key factors in State Farm retaining the top ranking in the mobile site category. Additionally, KLI commended State Farm® Pocket Agent® application for its accident detail feature and access to policy information.
"Consumers expect to connect with us through multiple channels and devices, and we continue to work hard to meet their needs," said Patty Gaumond, Vice President of Enterprise Internet Solutions at State Farm. "These rankings acknowledge our continued focus on providing both current and prospective State Farm customers with the same great experience, regardless of how they come to us."
Additional mobile offerings from State Farm include Steer Clear® Mobile, and Driver Feedback™ apps on both the iPhone® and Android™ platforms, and the MoveTools® app for iPad® users. To learn more, visit www.statefarm.com/mobile/.
