HOUSTON, Nov. 8, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Just in time for the holiday rush, Luby's is offering a solution for time strapped fans of its fresh, home-style fare. The landmark cafeteria chain has just released its 2012 "Feasts to Go" program details, designed to make catering home and office celebrations a snap.
Created for groups of 10 or more and priced from just $6.99 to $10.99 per person, three festive offerings provide a cornucopia of individual lunches or dinners perfect for the office or social gatherings. The Basic package includes (per person) three ounces of sliced roasted turkey, three ounces of sliced baked ham, dinner roll, cornbread dressing, cranberry sauce and giblet gravy. The Classic, priced at $8.99 per person, builds on the Basic with a choice of two holiday sides. The value added Feast package incorporates a dessert with a slice of pumpkin, apple, cherry or pecan pie.
For those looking to eat their turkey and carve it too, Luby's presents four family-friendly options ranging from $54.99 to $109.99. The fully cooked items are ready to heat and serve. The Select, which serves 4-6, includes a whole roasted turkey breast or spiral spiced ham, one quart of cornbread dressing, one pint of cranberry dressing, one pint of giblet gravy, a dozen dinner rolls and a choice of a pumpkin or pecan pie. Priced at $79.99, the Signature package serves 10-12 with whole roasted Butterball® turkey, whole smoked Butterball® turkey, whole deep fried Butterball® turkey, roasted turkey breast or spiral sliced ham options. Also priced at $79.99 and serving 10-12, the Combination includes both whole roasted turkey breast and spiral sliced ham. For red meat lovers, the Premium package encompasses roasted prime rib for 7-8 with one pint of au jus gravy, two quarts of homemade mash potatoes, two quarts of seasoned green beans, one pint of sauteed mushrooms, a dozen dinner rolls, plus a choice of a strawberry cheesecake or holiday pie.
A variety of specially priced add-ons, as well as a la carte options, are also available, ranging from individual pies priced at $14.99, fresh salads and holiday sides at $7.99 per quart, whole turkeys at $38 each and sliced holiday meats at $7.99 a pound.
