RESTON, VA -- (Marketwire) -- 11/12/12 -- Appian, the market leader in modern business process management (BPM) software, today extended its presence in the Australia market through localized hosting for its Appian Cloud customers in the country. The hosting, available through Appian's partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS), enhances the delivery options for local customers of the Appian BPM Suite. It also expands Appian's direct presence in the region.
Appian's Australia/New Zealand regional headquarters office in Sydney, Australia has already amassed a strong roster of local customers for on-premise delivery of Appian's innovative worksocial capabilities that combine work automation and industry-leading social and mobile computing. In combination with Appian's Melbourne office, the company provides dedicated personnel in sales, professional services and technical support across the region. Current Appian ANZ customers such as the Queensland Government, Lend Lease, SuperIQ and Territory Insurance Office (TIO) will now be joined by organizations that wanted Appian Cloud delivery, but required local hosting.
The natively-built and integrated Appian BPM Suite can be accessed on all major mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, Blackberry, Android) and through a web browser. Through a simple and seamless user experience, code-free composition, universal access and modern social collaboration, Appian empowers business users to drive innovation of core internal and customer-facing processes. Appian Cloud features a portable cloud architecture that delivers complete functionality in any deployment mode, and the ability to easily migrate between cloud and on-premise delivery. Appian's Cloud team was granted early access to the new AWS Region to ensure that the Appian Cloud implementations would perform optimally.
"Appian Cloud has been recognized by industry analysts as setting the bar for BPM in the Cloud," said Karen Astley, Managing Director of Appian's Australia/New Zealand office. "The combination of our portable cloud architecture with the choice that all cloud data stays within Australia allows us to offer the widest range of trusted deployment options for our local customers."
