Soonr, a leading provider of online file sharing and collaboration for business, today announced new features for the company’s Workplace and Scribble solutions, providing powerful new capabilities for today’s businesses and mobile workforce. Soonr Workplace and Soonr Scribble for Android 3.8.1 improve productivity for businesses that need to collaborate quickly for maximum efficiency. New features include document annotation from any touch-based Android smartphone or tablet, enhanced presentation mode for maximum visual impact, and more.
“Android continues to dominate mobile platform market share,” said Martin Frid-Nielsen, founder and CEO of Soonr. “The enhanced functionality we’ve built into Soonr Workplace and Soonr Scribble will significantly improve both usability and performance for businesses that use Android-based devices – it’s the next step on our on-going mission to help people do business faster on any mobile device.”
New Soonr Workplace Adds New Presentation, Drawing and Mark-Up Features
Soonr Workplace enables business employees to access, work and share critical information from any mobile device. Touch-based Annotation of popular document types such as Microsoft Office®, PDF and even Adobe® Illustrator® and Photoshop® is now available for all Android phones and tablets from major manufacturers like HTC®, LG®, Motorola®, Panasonic® and others, in addition to the already supported Samsung® S Pen interface and Apple iOS. The document annotation capability includes improved features to enable smoother drawings for sharp, detailed annotations, notes and markups. In addition, this major upgrade delivers a new presentation mode, enabling Android users to present a document using the entire screen, without any toolbars. Annotation is also available while in presentation mode, for instance, users can now directly annotate PowerPoint slides while giving a presentation from their device to draw attention to or highlight a specific point.
Language Localization
As Soonr Workplace is increasingly being used by businesses around the world, Soonr Workplace now also supports native language interfaces. In addition to English, this new version of Soonr Workplace now supports German, Italian and French languages.
Pricing and Availability
These updates to the Soonr mobile apps are now available for download on the Google Play app store. Soonr Workplace service starts at $9.95 a month. Soonr Scribble is currently a free service when used with Android phones and tablets, and both services include the new mobile apps. To download screenshots of the Soonr mobile apps click here.
