SEATTLE, Nov. 14, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Urbanspoon, the leading mobile restaurant discovery application and reservation management system, today released America's Most Popular Kid-Friendly Restaurants. Busy families will find great restaurant choices for a family night out, from comfy venues to mouthwatering menus. Restaurants on Urbanspoon's 2012 America's Most Popular Kid-Friendly Restaurant list were selected based on a rating algorithm that includes blog posts on Urbanspoon, diner voting behavior, consumer reviews, critic reviews, and page views.

The Urbanspoon list of America's Most Popular Kid-Friendly Restaurants covers 26 states and 64 cities. Cities with the most kid-friendly eateries include New Orleans and Austin, boasting eight and five respectively. Three restaurants each hailed from Memphis, New York, San Antonio, Seattle, St. Louis, and Virginia Beach.
Urbanspoon users can expect to find typical kid favorites, like pizza and grilled cheese, on the menu at many of the restaurants that made the list, but a few surprises, including a Brazilian steakhouse and famous dumpling house, are also sure to please both children and adults alike.
