InterMune nimmt mit Veeva's cloudbasiertem CRM und iRep erfolgreich operativen Betrieb in Europa auf und lanciert neues Arzneimittel gegen seltene Krankheiten

Als das aufstrebende Biotechnologieunternehmen InterMune seine Geschäftstätigkeit nach Europa ausweitete, suchte es im Zuge dessen nach einer zuverlässigen CRM-Lösung, die dem Unternehmen dabei helfen sollte, sein Orphan-Arzneimittel Esbriet auf den Markt zu bringen. Bei diesem Medikament handelt es sich um die erste und bislang einzige Behandlungsmöglichkeit, die nachweislich das Fortschreiten der Erkrankung bei Patienten verzögert, die an einer leichten bis mittelschweren IPF leiden.

InterMune musste die neue Lösung außerdem schnell implementieren, darum suchte das Biotech-Unternehmen explizit nach einer flexiblen, leicht zu implementierenden und benutzerfreundlichen Plattform. Nach der Evaluierung von drei führenden CRM-Anbietern entschied sich InterMune für das cloudbasierte Veeva CRM, das zudem iRep beinhaltet - die einzige integrierte CRM- und Closed-Loop-Marketing (CLM)-Anwendung der Branche, die speziell für das iPad von Apple entwickelt wurde.
