NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwire) -- 11/16/12 -- Consumer electronics will once again be at the top of just about every holiday wish list. But what will be the hottest tech and gadget gifts this season? The survey results are in and the expert from the Consumer Electronics Association, Jim Barry, "THE DIGITAL ANSWER MAN" has them.
According to the top 10 "wants" on this year's electronics wish list were: tablets, TVs, smart phones, notebooks, video games, e-readers, MP3 players, Blu-ray players, digital cameras, and desktop PCs.
The Digital Answer Man shows off electronics that turn those "wants" into "haves." Tablets will top many wish lists this year, with the Amazon Kindle Fire HD, the Microsoft Surface, Google's Nexus 7 and Apple's iPad3 and iPad Mini being among the most wanted tablets.
TVs are always a hot gift around the holidays. If you're looking for a connected, 3D display, look no further than the LG's 55" LED LM6700 and accompanying LG bp320 Blu-ray player. There is also the new VIZIO 60" LED E-Series.
If smartphones top your list this year, check out the Samsung Note. Windows 8 is getting a lot of buzz, including this HTC Windows 8X.
Laptops are also "hot" this year, with products like the Lenovo Yoga, a tablet and laptop in one, and the VIZIO Ultrabook. If you're looking for an e-reader, the Kindle Paperwhite allows you to read outside and in the dark! For the best in gaming, look no further than the XBox with Kinnect and the PlayStation Vita for portable gaming.
