Belkin
Belkin is a company of many hats. Regardless of what you’re looking for in the tech world, there’s a good chance you’ll be able to find it in their product listing.
Phone accessory makers are a dime a dozen, and many seem to just churn out the same old stuff over and over again: cases, chargers, adapters, blah, blah blah. Belkin has all that “boring” stuff, but also a ton of other stuff that few, if any, other companies have even tried to make. One of the coolest series of products to check out are their “app-enabled devices,” featuring things like their WeMo switch, an adapter for an electric outlet that uses your home Wi-Fi network and lets you turn electronic devices on or off from anywhere.
Another one of Belkin’s app-enabled devices is their LiveAction Mic, which uses the same microphone technology that the pros use, and which attaches to your phone’s audio jack to instantly elevate your sound recording capabilities. Or you can look at Belkin’s LiveAction Camera Remote, which is a fifty dollar gadget that lets you remotely activate your iPhone or iPod Touch’s camera shutter from up to 30 feet away. Be left out of group photos no more!
Maybe these little things don’t do it for you. Maybe you want something a little more universally useful. Take a look at Belkin’s mobile keyboards, that connect via Bluetooth to portable devices and even feature iPad or Android shortcut keys.
Need something for your car? Take Belkin’s CarAudio Connect FM with Bluetooth, which lets you answer phone calls safely and easily with one button press. Never dig around for your phone while driving again!
Want to create your own music experience? Check out Belkin’s RockStar adapter, which lets you connect up to five headphones and your iPod to start sharing music or videos or whatever else you want. It also works with all other mp3 players, as well as DVD players and other portable media devices.
All these descriptions don’t even begin to cover what Belkin offers: networking gadgets, computer accessories, surge protectors, mobile TV accessories and more. Do yourself a favor and check out Belkin’s catalog. You might just discover something you needed that you didn’t even know existed.
