Allegiant Systems Inc. dévoile FlyDesk™, une solution pour tablette mobile révolutionnaire pour automatiser les opérations aériennes

LAS VEGAS, 27 novembre 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Ces cinq dernières années, l'industrie aéronautique s'est métamorphosée, tant en termes d'exploitation que de modèle économique. Les compagnies aériennes recherchent des moyens de limiter les coûts tout en optimisant la rentabilité et l'efficacité. Allegiant Systems Inc. a annoncé aujourd'hui le lancement de FlyDesk™, une solution logicielle dématérialisée à destination des entreprises, permettant aux compagnies aériennes d'automatiser les processus en vol, augmenter les opportunités économiques et améliorer l'expérience du voyageur, sans induire de coûts supplémentaires.

Au cours de ces dernières années, les iPad ont intégré les vols des compagnies américaines Alaska, American et United afin d'être testés ; 30 000 pilotes ont d'ores et déjà recours à cette technologie en vol. FlyDesk est la première solution clé en main apportant à la fois les ressources logicielles et matérielles nécessaires pour aider les compagnies aériennes à répondre à des projets d'automatisation complexes grâce à la technologie des tablettes iPad.

À l'origine, FlyDesk assiste le personnel navigant dans leurs opérations via FlyDesk Cabin, qui numérise les manuels, automatise la communication d'informations et offre des services de courriers électroniques sécurisés. FlyDesk Cabin a été conçu pour répondre aux besoins spécifiques des compagnies aériennes, tout en créant une activité « sans papier », réduisant le poids à bord, facilitant les mises à jour et optimisant les économies en carburant et les coûts. Quatre compagnies aériennes prévoient d'adopter la solution FlyDesk Cabin sur l'ensemble de leur flotte en décembre 2012.
