Available today from Mango Tree, the mobile app Trivio! challenges you to test your general knowledge with over 1,800 mind-blogging trivia questions and images in 11 different categories and 200 levels. Play with friends and test your knowledge of body parts, beers, comedians, cities of the world, periodic elements or solve riddles on your iPhone or iPad.
This is not your typical mobile trivia app. Trivio! makes learning fun by challenging users to identify images, texts, quotes, pictures and brain teasers in order to get the right answer and rank up. The app allows the user to choose a specific category like Science, which shows different levels to choose from to begin playing. Letter tiles are used to answer the questions with the help of hints, a tile shuffle button and a letter magnet to pull an answer. Each player starts with 15,000 coins and each challenge has a price, but for every correct answer the user earns points, which can be used to buy more letter magnets or unlock new levels. Users can even challenge Facebook friends to see who knows more and rank up.
Juan Penagos, from Mango Tree, Diego Ramirez from Dynamo Films and Germán Montoya, of Rokk3r Labs, created Mango Tree with the objective of creating fun and interesting apps with worldwide appeal. “Trivio was developed for the smartphone user looking for a gaming app that is fun, social and challenging, while providing information that is entertaining as well as educational. Part of the app’s appeal is that is ever-growing and never-ending,” said Montoya.
