Structured, a leading information technology and systems integrator of secure and scalable IT solutions and services, today announced its completion of the Apple Consultants Network (ACN) training program and its Mobile Device Management (MDM) certification.
Many companies now are considering “bring-your-own-device” policies that allow employees to use their personal Apple devices instead of company-issued smartphones. The certification means that Structured can help companies in its service area of Oregon, Alaska, California, Colorado, Idaho, Illinois, Nevada and Washington to ensure the security of data on those devices.
To qualify for MDM certification, Structured proved its technical experts could successfully implement iOS devices in business environments and demonstrated its proficiency in network integration, wireless technologies, network security and device management.
The certification also requires familiarity with mobile apps and the desire to help customers discover innovative uses for mobility technology within their businesses. Structured’s profile on the Apple Consultants Network website can be found here.
“Receiving the mobility certification in the Apple Consultants Network Program is another way for us to bring our advanced expertise to customers that want to roll out BYOD policies,” said Ron Fowler, Structured’s President and CEO. “This adds a high-profile element to the complete data security and mobile device management services we have at Structured.”
