ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill., Dec. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Rasmussen College, a regionally accredited private college with 22 campuses in five states, announced today the adoption of a website that empowers its student-borrowers to develop borrowing and repayment strategies around their federal and private education loans. The website, www.loanlook.com, is provided by Loanlook, Inc., an affiliate of The i3 Group. Rasmussen College is providing the Loanlook™ service at no cost to its current and former students.
Aside from a refreshable dashboard that delivers up-to-date loan profiles and lender/servicer information, loanlook.com users have access to payment optimization, income-based repayment, and consolidation calculators. The site also offers budgeting and cloud storage tools. For borrowers requiring additional support, the site provides access to loan counselors via Web chat and a toll-free number. The Loanlook™ service is also available as a mobile app for Apple and Android devices.
The use of Loanlook™ represents another facet in the partnership between Rasmussen College and i3. Since 2010, Rasmussen College has employed i3's LoanAxis™ case management platform to analyze cohort student populations and proactively reach student-borrowers via multi-channel communication.
Rasmussen College offers a complimentary Student Loan Management service to its current and former students as part of their SUPPORT+ student services. Student Loan Advisors are available to provide financial literacy, discuss loan repayment plans and answer questions students may have, with the goal to prepare them with the knowledge and confidence they need proactively manage their student loan debt.
The Student Loan Management service at Rasmussen College is available to students at the first day of enrollment through the student loan repayment period. The addition of Loanlook™ to this service will provide students an electronic tool to manage their student loan debt.
The fully-supported LoanAxis™ Software as a Service (SaaS) is a modular suite of sub-systems that is scaled the specific default aversion requirements of Rasmussen College. Key functions of LoanAxis™ include the ability to:
- trend cohort populations and provide loan-level reconciliation;
- reach current and former students within a fully-blended, inbound/outbound call center environment;
- schedule and customize live and virtual calling campaigns;
- coordinate with lenders/servicers via conference calls and warm transfers;
- monitor and record live calls;
- schedule email, SMS, and direct mail campaigns; and
- optimize workflows per custom queries and time zone.
LoanAxis™ represents a wing-to-wing loan and relationship management solution. For over two years, the platform has allowed Rasmussen College to develop, test, and run service models based on the actual contact and payment traits of their specific cohort populations.
Loanlook.com uses bank-level security to safeguard student information. The site actively monitors compliance with, and conducts annual security assessments against, all applicable information security standards including the: Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA); National Institute of Standards and Technology SP 800-53 (NIST); Payment Card Industry – Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS); Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16 (SSAE 16); and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
