Sage Deutschland: Umsatz erstmals über 100 Millionen Euro

Die britische Sage Group plc stellt heute die Ergebnisse des Geschäftsjahres 2011/12 vor, das am 30. September 2012 endete. Für Deutschland und Österreich konnte die Sage Software GmbH (www.sage.de) ihr Ergebnis deutlich steigern: Der Umsatz verbesserte sich um 5,3 Prozent auf 101,6 Millionen Euro, womit die deutsche Landesgesellschaft im Vergleich zur Sage Gruppe überdurchschnittlich stark gewachsen ist. Hierzu trug vor allem das Lizenzwachstum von 7,4 Prozent bei. Aber auch das Umsatzplus in den strategischen Wachstumsfeldern wie Cloud Computing spielte eine bedeutende Rolle.

Cloud-Lösungen auf dem Vormarsch

So stieg die Kundenzahl des über das Internet angebotenen Lohnabrechnungsservices www.einfachlohn.de weiter rasant auf nunmehr über 4.200 zahlende Kunden an. Monatlich werden nun etwa 15.500 Lohnabrechnungen auf Basis des Online-Dienstes durchgeführt. Zudem verzeichneten auch die Online-Dienste GS-Office Back-up (http://www.sage.de/onlinebackup) und GS-Office e-Commerce (www.gs-office-ecommerce.de) sowie die Cloud-Lösung Sage Shop (www.sage.de/sagehomepage) hohe zweistellige Wachstumszahlen. Inzwischen nutzen rund 6.500 Kunden, darunter auch erste Kunden der Enterprise-Resource-Planning (ERP)-Lösung Office Line 24 (www.office-line-24.de), Cloud-Lösungen aus dem Hause Sage.

Überaus erfolgreich verlief auch der Start der Dokumentenmanagement-Lösung Sage DMS (www.sage.de/dms). Die Archivierungslösung ist modularer Bestandteil der Produkte Office Line Evolution sowie Sage New Classic und wird inzwischen bei mehr als 100 Unternehmen eingesetzt. Zudem stieg sowohl das Geschäft mit Personalwirtschaftslösungen als auch mit ERP-Systemen für den gehobenen Mittelstand zweistellig und trug so maßgeblich zum guten Ergebnis bei.

Peter Dewald, Geschäftsführer der deutschen Sage Software GmbH, zeigt sich angesichts der guten Ergebnisse des Unternehmens überaus zufrieden: „Unsere 6.500 Online-Kunden, die unsere Cloud- und Software-as-a-Service-Lösungen quasi im Abo beziehen, beweisen, dass der Markt für Internet-basierte Software keine Zukunftsvision mehr ist, sondern bereits Realität.“ Die in den letzten zwei bis drei Jahren initiierten Wachstumsbereiche trügen heute maßgeblich zum Umsatzwachstum der letzten zwölf Monate bei, so Dewald.

Mobile Lösungen weiter auf dem Vormarsch

Im Geschäftsjahr 2011/12 wurden bei Sage zudem zahlreiche mobile Lösungen vorgestellt. Ob in den Bereichen Kundenmanagement (CRM), Personalwirtschaft oder ERP – überall gab es Neu- oder Weiterentwicklungen mobiler Lösungen. Kleine Unternehmen, Existenzgründer und Handwerker, die die Warenwirtschaft- und Finanzbuchhaltung GS-Office von Sage im Einsatz haben, können sich ihre Unternehmensdaten jetzt auch über die mobile Lösung „GS-Office Mobile“ anzeigen lassen. So stehen in Echtzeit detaillierte Informationen und Statistiken, beispielsweise über das Verkaufs- bzw. Einkaufsvolumen, bezogene bzw. gelieferte Artikel, noch offene Angebote oder Aufträge mobil zur Verfügung.

Auch Anwender der Handwerker-Software HWP (www.sage.de/hw) können mit der Applikation mO for Sage ab sofort einen mobilen Kundenservice via iPhone und iPad einsetzen. Mit der App können Aufträge elektronisch übermittelt, bearbeitet und mit den Daten in HWP abgeglichen werden, was zu einer deutlichen Vereinfachung der Auftragsverwaltung führt.

Weltweiter Umsatz und Gewinn leicht gestiegen

Vor dem Hintergrund anhaltend schwieriger internationaler Märkte stieg der weltweite organische Umsatz* der Sage Gruppe währungsbereinigt um zwei Prozent auf 1.588,8 Milliarden Euro. Der weltweite Gewinn vor Steuern, Zinsen und Abschreibungen auf immaterielle Vermögensgegenstände (EBITA) stieg währungsbereinigt* um drei Prozent auf 447,0 Millionen Euro. Positiv entwickelte sich erneut die Kundenzahl, die im abgelaufenen Geschäftsjahr um weltweit rund 289.000 neue mittelständische Kunden auf mehr als 6 Millionen Unternehmen anstieg.

Guy Berruyer, Chief Executive der Sage Gruppe, kommentiert: „Die europäischen Zahlen zeigten ein gutes Wachstum vor allem in Großbritannien und Deutschland, das durch die Einflüsse der schwächeren französischen und spanischen Märkte wieder aufgehoben wurde. Nordamerika blickte auf ein verbessertes zweites Halbjahr zurück, und die Märkte in Afrika, Australien, dem Mittleren Osten und Asien wiesen ein sehr starkes Wachstum auf.“ Berruyer sagte weiter: „Wir machen gute Fortschritte hinsichtlich der Strategie, unser Wachstum zu beschleunigen und bleiben zuversichtlich, dass wir unsere strategischen und finanziellen Ziele erreichen werden.“

So habe man gute Fortschritte bei den drei wesentlichen strategischen Eckpfeilern gemacht:

Fokussierung des Geschäfts: Verkauf der Sage Healthcare Division in den USA; Zukauf neuer Unternehmen in Brasilien; Neuzuordnung der Investments in Wachstumsfelder; Zentralisierung der Forschung & Entwicklung in den drei größten Märkten.

Nutzung der technologischen Möglichkeiten: Starkes Kundenwachstum mit Sage One in Großbritannien und Irland; Entwicklung von hybriden Cloud-Lösungen auf der Microsoft Azure Plattform; starkes Wachstum der Bezahl-Services.

Vorteile von Subskriptions-Modellen: Guter Fortschritt beim Aufbau von Premium Services; Start von Subskriptions-basierten Preismodellen in Nordamerika, Europa und Südafrika.

Sage ERP X3 und Sage Pay mit gutem Wachstum

So konnten auch zwei für Deutschland wichtige strategische Produktbereiche erfreuliche Zuwächse verzeichnen: Die internationale ERP-Lösung Sage ERP X3 (http://www.sageerpx3.com/ger), die global tätige Mittelständler mit 100 bis 500 Mitarbeitern adressiert, verzeichnete vor dem Hintergrund anhaltend schwieriger Märkte ein solides weltweites Umsatzplus: Dieses stieg im abgelaufenen Geschäftsjahr währungsbereinigt um 5 Prozent*. Außerhalb Frankreichs, wo das Produkt seinen Ursprung hat, stieg der Umsatz sogar um 17 Prozent* und beträgt damit 43 Prozent des weltweiten Sage ERP X3 Umsatzes.

Zudem zeigte das im Oktober 2012 in Deutschland gestartete Bezahlverfahren Sage Pay (www.sagepay.de) mit einem organischen Umsatzplus von weltweit 25 Prozent* einen rasanten Wachstumskurs.

We are reaching the end of the beginning with WebRTC and real systems using this technology have begun to appear. One challenge that faces every WebRTC deployment (in some form or another) is identity management. For example, if you have an existing service – possibly built on a variety of different PaaS/SaaS offerings – and you want to add real-time communications you are faced with a challenge relating to user management, authentication, authorization, and validation. Service providers will want to use their existing identities, but these will have credentials already that are (hopefully) irreversibly encoded.
