In Tribals ogni giocatore diventa signore di un piccolo villaggio medievale. Tramite alleanze strategiche e imprese audaci, ogni giocatore può ampliare il proprio territorio conquistando altri villaggi. Fondamentale è il gioco di squadra: da solo, nessun giocatore può riuscire a sopravvivere, ma in una tribù che collabora è possibile trasformare un modesto villaggio in un potente impero.
