Le salon CES international 2013 se déroulera sur une superficie record d'espace d'exposition

La Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)® a annoncé aujourd'hui que le salon CES international 2013® se déroulera sur une superficie record d'espace d'exposition totalisant plus de 0,57 millions de mètres carrés nets. Le record précédent était de 0,537 millions de mètres carrés nets lors du salon CES 2012. Propriété et production de la CEA, le salon CES 2013, le plus grand événement de l'innovation au monde, aura lieu du mardi 8 janvier au vendredi 11 janvier 2013 à Las Vegas dans l'État du Nevada.

« Avec la plus grande surface d'exposition de toute l'histoire, plus de technologies et de services innovants seront lancés lors du salon CES 2013 que partout ailleurs dans le monde », a déclaré Gary Shapiro, président et directeur général de la CEA. « Depuis les services basés sur le 'cloud' aux avancées dans le secteur de la santé numérique, en passant par les technologies de véhicules connectés, les toutes dernières applications, les appareils flexibles et bien d'autres, les innovations dévoilées lors du salon CES 2013 créeront de nouveaux emplois et promouvront la croissance économique à travers le monde ».

Le salon CES 2013 accueillera 3 000 exposants sur l'espace d'exposition le plus grand des 45 années d'histoire de l'événement. Un nombre record de huit constructeurs automobiles exposeront lors du salon CES 2013, notamment Audi, Chrysler, Ford, General Motors, Hyundai, Kia, Lexus et Subaru, à travers plus de 30 480 mètres carrés nets d'espace d'exposition.

Le pavillon iLounge revient au salon CES 2013 avec un total combiné de 36 576 mètres carrés nets de produits et technologies liés à Apple. Accueillant plus de 440 exposants, le iLounge a quadruplé depuis son lancement en 2010 et il se trouvera au palais des congrès de Las Vegas (LVCC), dans le hall nord et à l'hôtel LVH.

Destination incontournable du salon CES 2013, le parc étendu Eureka Park accueillera 140 exposants comptant des entrepreneurs, startups et petites entreprises qui présenteront la nouvelle génération en technologie. Nouveauté de l'Eureka Park pour 2013, la scène Startup America réunira des startups, des investisseurs, de grandes sociétés et la presse pour mettre en avant les innovations étonnantes qui seront dévoilées lors du salon CES 2013.

La technologie numérique de santé et de remise en forme s'est élargie de 25 pour cent dans l'espace technologique FitnessTech TechZone, avec plus de 220 sociétés qui présenteront des appareils permettant d'effectuer un suivi de mesures de poids, d'indice de masse corporelle, d'exercices et de calories. La nouvelle génération d'appareils et d'applications de santé et de remise en forme présentée permettra d'accéder aux antécédents médicaux complets d'un patient et à des données biométriques exhaustives et elle offrira un accès distant à des professionnels médicaux. La salon CES 2013 proposera plus de 7 620 mètres carrés nets d'espace d'exposition dédié aux technologies numériques de santé et de remise en forme.

Près de 20 000 produits nouveaux seront lancés lors du salon CES 2013 avec des tendances de produits majeures incluant des services sur le cloud, des technologies de mouvement et détection, des véhicules connectés, les dernières innovations en téléphones intelligents et tablettes et la TV ultra-haute définition.

Le programme de conférences du salon CES 2013 comptera 300 séances étoffées et 800 intervenants, notamment des discours donnés par les dirigeants de Qualcomm, Panasonic, Samsung et Verizon, ainsi qu'un panel de marques majeures représentées par des cadres d'American Express, d'AT&T, de Coca-Cola, de Salesforce.com, de Samsung et d'Unilever. En outre, le programme Entertainment Matters , sponsorisé par Variety, est de retour pour sa troisième année avec des expositions, des programmes de conférences et des événements spéciaux dédiés aux professionnels de la communauté des divertissements et l'actrice Felicia Day en sera l'ambassadrice.

We are reaching the end of the beginning with WebRTC and real systems using this technology have begun to appear. One challenge that faces every WebRTC deployment (in some form or another) is identity management.
