RACINE, Wis., Dec. 13, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- CCB, Inc. employees know firsthand by talking with customers that it's been a tough year for nonprofit organizations, so they initiated a plan to make this holiday season all about giving back on a personal level by launching two donation drives.

In November, CCB employees participated in donating non-perishable food and personal care items in exchange for Jeans Days. With the "Buy a Jeans Day," employees could wear jeans each day that they brought in an item during the two week period. Participation was 100% and many generously gave over and above the requirement.
In addition to "Jeans Day," CCB employees gave up their Secret Santa gifts at this year's Christmas party to make monetary donations on behalf of each other to six local charities. CCB President, Chris Booth, has added to the momentum by offering a dollar-for-dollar matching gift of up to $1,000.00.
"Both programs create an opportunity to work for a common cause." said CCB, Inc. Executive VP Patrick Booth, "We believe in supporting our community. This is just one way we can give back and encourage a spirit of involvement."
"CCB is fortunate to have such generous employees who want to be a part of their community." said CCB, Inc. President/CEO Chris Booth. "The activities gave them a sense of pride and focused teamwork. They are already talking about plans for 2013, and not just for the holidays."
As a result of the drive, CCB employees collected close to 400 pounds of non-perishable food and personal care items for those in need. The employees will personally deliver the collected items to the HALO Center (Homeless Assistance Leadership Organization) in Racine County.
Later this month they will be distributing over $2,000 to six charities including: Women's Resource Center, Youth for Christ, Special Olympics Wisconsin, Boys and Girls Club of Kenosha, HALO, and the Shalom Center.
