TORONTO, ONTARIO -- (Marketwire) -- 12/17/12 -- Forget the Oscars. Forget the Golden Globes. This awards season, there's a new contest Canadians will want to be paying close attention to: The 1st Annual RateSupermarket.ca 'Best Of Finance' Awards.
For the first time, RateSupermarket.ca, Canada's independent rate comparison site for mortgage rates and finance products, is introducing a consumers' choice component to their best product picks. While the site typically provides the hard data and numbers, this is an opportunity for Canadians to weigh in on their own experiences in personal finance.
RateSupermarket.ca is the authority in personal finance, and strives to connect consumers with the educational tools required to better understand financial products. A wealth of information is available through their LEARN guides, as well as the Money Wise blog.
RateSupermarket.ca's Best of Finance Awards feature a variety of categories encompassing favourite resources and products. Canadians are invited to participate in the survey until 11:59 PM EST on Jan. 2, 2013. The Best of Finance Awards, including the Consumers' Choice picks, will be announced January 7, 2013.
