Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (NASDAQ:MRVL): Marvell Technology Group Ltd. (NASDAQ:MRVL) was ordered by a federal jury on December 26 to pay US$1.17 billion in damages to Pittsburgh's Carnegie Mellon University, which sued the chip-maker for patent infringement. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL): Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is planning to invest US$100 million to start manufacturing in the U.S. next year. The company will move its Mac Mini production back to the U.S. with Foxconn Technology Co., Ltd., which manufactures most of Apple devices in China.
