IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/04/13 -- Dane-Elec, a global leader in consumer electronics, will use the upcoming 2013 International CES setting to introduce its new line of mobile accessories, called Mobile Junkie. The line's flagship model is the Wireless SmartReader -- your personal mobile share point for up to five devices that is so small it can fit in a pocket. Additional products include an Ultra-Mini USB drive, a 3-in-1 Mobile Kit, and a Secure Digital High Capacity memory card.
"We are thrilled to introduce the exciting new Mobile Junkie line, designed to make a user's mobile experience more enjoyable," commented Sherry Chapman, Dane-Elec director of marketing. "In today's society, almost everyone has a smartphone, tablet, digital camera, or Ultrabook. The Mobile Junkie line allows consumers to enjoy and share more content on their devices, whenever and wherever they are."
Wireless SmartReader -- Your Mobile Digital Share Point
As its name implies, the Wireless SmartReader wirelessly extends a mobile device's storage space. It allows media files to easily be streamed on-the-go, virtually anywhere, with no Internet service or data plan fees required. Up to five devices can access the data on it at any one time, such as photos, music, movies, documents and more. Other than a company expense allowance, it is the best traveling companion available for business trips as well as vacations or even some leisure time in the backyard.
It's as simple as 1-2-3 to use. 1) Download music, movies, photos, or documents onto a USB drive or SD card, 2) insert the flash memory unit into the Wireless SmartReader, 3) watch, view, hear, or read on a mobile device. The device features eight hours of battery life and can provide up to four hours of mobile device battery backup.
The Dane-Elec Wireless SmartReader is compatible with SD, SDHC, SDXC, and USB 2.0 flash devices. It supports a number of movie, photo, music, and document file formats. It also supports iPhone, iPad , iPodTouch, Android, Windows, smartphones, tablets, and iOS 5 and later. Free Apps are available. Its small size (2.2" x 1.8" x 1") and light weight (3.5 ounces) make it ultra-portable.
Mobile Junkie -- Flash Memory On-the-Go
In addition to the Wireless SmartReader, other initial products in the Dane-Elec Mobile Junkie lineup are:
- Ultra Mini USB Drive - small USB drive that is perfect for the low profile, sleek design of Ultrabooks; 8GB, 16GB & 32GB
