MALDEN, Mass., Jan. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today at the 2013 International CES (North Hall, Booth 3526 in the iLounge Pavilion), CableJive LLC unveiled samDock, the first cable of its kind, to connect Samsung Galaxy devices, including SIII and Note II, to any 30-pin iPod or iPhone audio dock. samDock is a single cable solution that delivers charge functionality and provides a high quality audio connection for products like the Bose SoundDock or iHome Audio products. samDock offers 24 inches of cable, enabling handheld devices to stay in users hands. The cable length increases usability while watching a movie, playing a game, or listening to music.

Available today at www.cablejive.com for $24.95, samDock has a smart set of electronics that speak the language of all home or car audio systems. This cable eliminates the barrier between Samsung Galaxy devices and the widely available audio docks designed for use with Apple products.
"We love this product because there is an obvious gap between two well developed markets and samDock connects the two. There are many high quality audio docks that were developed to work with Apple devices, yet Samsung has sold more than 30 million Galaxy SIII phones worldwide," said Founder and President Mike Kruckenberg. "samDock enables Galaxy users to have a full function connection to any 30-pin audio dock on the market today."
samDock is a black cable with a 30-pin female adapter on one end that plugs into the iPod or iPhone dock. The other end is a multimedia micro USB adapter that passes audio and charge signals to and from the phone.

CableJive creates seriously useful cables and adapters for passionate music and electronics enthusiasts all over the world. In 2006, CableJive's culture was born in an attic with a soldering iron and a very simple, yet genius, idea to enable a wider variety of portable music players to be handheld while connected to SoundDock speaker systems. Early to market, dockBoss set the stage for many unique and high quality products from CableJive, including dockBoss air, dockBoss for iPhone 5 and dockXtender, dockStubz and ProJive. CableJive has moved into an office space in Malden, MA, but still breaks out the soldering iron and electronics multi-tester to build and test new products based on requests from our loyal customer base.
