LAS VEGAS, Jan. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- ShowStoppers @ CES 2013 - Immersive video software company Condition One today announced at International CES a next generation video player that pushes the boundaries of immersive video with ultra-HD 2.7K resolution, extended hardware compatibility, and live streaming playback. The new high impact videos can be experienced via the Condition One app for iPhone and iPad or the web, featuring the stunning ability for viewers to change their perspective by simply moving the device or touching the screen.
"Technology drives the future of storytelling. We've pushed the bounds of technology – combining the latest high resolution cameras with advanced techniques in graphics engineering to create new levels of immersion," said founder and CEO Danfung Dennis. "Now, people can live stream a rock concert or basketball game, all with the ability to look around and follow the action, as if they were in the front row or courtside."
Advanced Capture and Compatibility
Condition One software is compatible with a wider range of high resolution digital cameras, including RED cameras, video-enabled DSLRs, and GoPros enabling hobbyists to film production crews to create immersive videos at a higher resolution than has ever before been possible.
Condition One now enables 2.7K playback through its Quad720 video player. Utilizing a proprietary splitting and stitching process, the video player projects four 720p videos into a single image to create a fully immersive, 'you are there' experience.
Real-Time, Easy Access to Immersive Media
Condition One videos can now be live streamed straight from the camera to the C1 video player. Previously available only for iOS, Condition One videos can now be viewed over the web.
The upgraded Condition One video player marks a new era for immersive video. For the first time, clients can create premium 2.7K or live streaming immersive video content. The video player enables content creators to transport their viewers to live sports/entertainment events or explore travel destinations and real estate in a way that has never before been experienced.
