Bravura Software today announced the release of OptiTune, an IT management system that allows companies to manage their computers from a web-based console. Designed for organizations with up to five thousand computers, OptiTune delivers a comprehensive feature set that includes application deployment, windows update management, malware detection, hardware/software inventory, and performance monitoring.
“OptiTune makes it easy for companies to manage all of their computers,” said Bravura Software CEO Matthew Block. “With OptiTune, companies get a flexible IT management system that is easy to deploy and can run in the cloud, or on your own server. Not only does it help you manage your PCs more efficiently, but it also gives you insights into how well your existing machines are performing. You can manage desktops, laptops, and even servers with OptiTune.”
Bravura Software predicts that OptiTune will be a hit with busy IT professionals, since its management features can be accessed from any device with a modern web browser, including the iPad and iPhone. This allows administrators to use OptiTune while they are on the go, and to provide better support for employees.
Perfect for businesses with a mobile workforce, OptiTune allows companies to manage computers that are outside the corporate network. Provided a computer has an internet connection, it can be managed through OptiTune. Most companies will choose to use OptiTune’s cloud-based service, but they can also host the OptiTune management server inside their corporate networks.
OptiTune is available directly from Bravura Software at http://www.bravurasoftware.com/optitune/. To help build awareness of OptiTune, Bravura Software is offering the system free for the first year, for up to ten computers ($3/month per computer after the first year, or for additional computers).
Founded in 2007, Bravura Software is a privately held company based in Redmond, WA. It designs and publishes software for the PC market.
