Misfit Shine est élu gadget no2 lors du CES

LAS VEGAS, 11 janvier 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Misfit Shine s'est classé deuxième lors du salon Last Gadget Standing du Consumer Electronics Show. Le produit de santé était sorti grand favori du vote en ligne du concours. Malgré un fervent coup de pouce sur les réseaux sociaux et bien qu'il ait le plus grand nombre de pages consultées, Misfit a perdu sa première place au profit de Lenovo à la dernière minute. Shine s'est également classé deuxième à cette occasion lors d'un vote public en direct s'appuyant sur le niveau d'applaudissements.

Shine est un traqueur d'activités physiques personnel et élégant disponible avec une gamme d'accessoires afin que les utilisateurs puissent le porter presque partout (chaussures, pantalon, soutien-gorge, poignet, cou, cheveux, etc.). Il suffit à l'utilisateur de tapoter l'appareil pour qu'un cercle lumineux apparaisse et indique son niveau d'avancement par rapport au niveau d'activité physique quotidienne qu'il s'est fixé. Avec son design intemporel, Shine est un diamant taillé dans un bloc massif d'aluminium dont la qualité équivaut celle de l'aéronautique et construit pour durer toute une vie. Il fonctionne avec l'application Shine, qui permet aux utilisateurs de définir leurs objectifs fitness. Pour synchroniser Shine, il suffit de le placer sur l'écran de son téléphone : les données sont téléchargées en quelques secondes.

Shine, qui sera disponible au printemps 2013, a déjà provoqué une tempête sur Indiegogo, où il a recueilli près de 700 000 USD de la part de 7 000 bailleurs de fonds issus de 64 pays. Le PDG Sonny Vu a déclaré : « Nous sommes heureux de constater que les gens aiment Shine. Je pense que le savoir-faire et l'attention aux détails avec lesquels Shine a été réalisé ont permis de créer un produit incroyablement élégant et particulièrement attrayant. »

La société fabrique une ligne de produits destinée à inciter les personnes à devenir plus actives et à développer des habitudes saines.
