With more than 10,000 species threatened worldwide due to pollution, illegal trade, industrialization and natural disaster, the importance of a sustainable, healthy marine ecology is more evident now than ever before. OtterBox® is pleased to announce limited edition Waves Defender Series® cases for Apple® iPhone® 5 and Samsung Galaxy S® III supporting the Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, Hong Kong (OPCFHK).
OtterBox will donate 10 percent of the purchase price from each case to Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, Hong Kong (OPCFHK) to fund research and education efforts aimed at the conservation of endangered animals and their habitats in Asia. OtterBox has pledged a minimum contribution of $50,000 USD.
Designed to offer style and protection, the Defender Series Waves case combines protection and beauty with an artistic pattern featuring an aquamarine seahorse. Built for protection, OtterBox Defender Series cases offer triple-layer coverage. The rugged design starts with a built-in screen protector to keep display glass scratch-free. A sturdy polycarbonate mid-layer and silicone outer layer combine to keep the device safe from shock and drops, while silicone plugs cover the access points to keep out dirt and dust. An included holster-style swivel belt clip allows for quick access and secure storage.*
The Waves case is now available at otterbox.com.hk, retail shops inside Ocean Park Hong Kong and select PCCW and Broadway stores in Hong Kong. The case will also be available in select retail stores throughout Asia Pacific.

About Ocean Park Conservation Foundation, Hong Kong:
Since its expansion in 2005, OPCFHK has allocated over US $4.4 million to fund over 290 research projects on cetaceans, giant pandas and many other species. It also inspires university students to engage in field work as part of its University Student Sponsorship Programme in Wildlife Conservation. After the 2008 earthquake in Sichuan, OPCFHK established a Giant Panda Base Rebuilding Fund and donated equipment to the affected nature reserves to help them resume daily operations. Conservation study and habitat restoration efforts were also supported. Visit www.opcf.org.hk for more information.
