BOSTON, MA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/17/13 -- WeatherNation TV, Inc., announced today an agreement to launch the WeatherNation television network on WBIN-TV's digital channel 50.3 and on Comcast cable channel 289 serving the Boston area. WeatherNation TV is a 24/7 television network providing local, regional and national weather.
"At WBIN we always strive to bring viewers the best content possible," said Gerry McGavick, General Manager of WBIN-TV. WeatherNation TV is also available as an easy-to-use, feature-packed weather app for iPhone® users. This robust app is available free from the Apple App Store and uniquely works in concert with WeatherNation's 24/7 TV channel.
"We're pleased to bring our WeatherNation service into a top 10 market like Boston and offer a TV weather network and mobile phone apps to deliver around the clock forecasts and current conditions from an experienced team of all meteorologists," said Michael Norton, President of Weather Nation TV.
