NEW YORK, Jan. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- OverBlog a publishing and marketing platform for individuals, businesses and brands to harness the power of their online content across the Web, today responded to the clamor around Facebook's Graph Search by showing the platform's unique capability to surface truly personal results, not from just a single but from all the social networks plugged into a user's OverBlog.

By offering users a one-stop destination page where they can feed in the content of their choice from all of their online posts – Facebook updates, Tweets, YouTube videos, Instagram and Flickr photos, native blog posts as well as those from WordPress and Tumblr – OverBlog gives the unique opportunity to search in one single place content that is otherwise scattered.
Testing the platform, maven entrepreneur and investor Martin Varsavsky said: "What was interesting about it for me was not only that it aggregates all your content in different platforms, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, Instagram, YouTube and others. What I liked the most was its search box, probably a section of the service that the 35 million uniques who go there rarely use. But what I have been wanting for a long time is a search engine of my own stuff. […] So if you want to search for names or words that are meaningful to you and you would never get the results you want in Google and not even in Facebook, do it in OverBlog and tell me how it worked for you."
Earlier this week, OverBlog launched its iPhone app, extending the offer for users to add, update and manage their unified, branded web page, on the go. Mobile features include the ability to aggregate, filter and curate pre-set online content, the ability to access and track business and traffic analytics, update posts, respond to comments, post pictures and video, blog and pull your best information from RSS feeds.
"The reality of spreading your brand across multiple Internet mediums these days can be confusing," said Frederic Montagnon, CEO of OverBlog. "Daily, and almost hourly, businesses and celebrities, have to respond, maintain and "like" items on Facebook and Twitter, post pictures on Instagram, blog and create and upload videos for YouTube. OverBlog, allows all pre-set Internet content to be aggregated, filtered, managed and curated on one platform for fans. Our new smartphone app makes it easier for users like me and you to upload our experiences on the go. Celebrity chef Brian Malarkey for instance is a power OverBlog user."
The app is available on the app store: https://itunes.apple.com/fr/app/overblog/id530524743?l=en&mt=8
