IRVINE, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 01/30/13 -- YouMail, the leading provider of personalized cloud-based voicemail, today announced that it has cleared four million registered users. In addition, YouMail announced it now has registered users from over 150,000 different businesses and enterprises, working in over 15,000 different occupations, and with up to multiple thousands of YouMail users active within a single enterprise. YouMail also announced the launch of its "YouMail - Business Edition" service geared toward its large and growing audience of business and professional users.
"We've added one million users in just the past six months, as YouMail is now spreading organically to our users' family, friends and colleagues," said YouMail CEO Alex Quilici. "And we're now seeing a big chunk of our base using YouMail as a business productivity tool, whether it's within a small business or a large enterprise."
YouMail's Business Edition retails for $6.99/month/user, but has a launch price of $4.99/month, extending YouMail with key features YouMail's business users have been clamoring for, including:
- Smart Business Greetings. This extends YouMail's "smart greeting," which greets callers by name like this: "Hi, John, Ian can't come to the phone right now." The business version provides a more personal and professional greeting, which includes the YouMail user's full name, company, and other optional information. This allows business users to appear as if they have an intelligent assistant, and lets callers know exactly who've they reached.
- An Enhanced Mailbox. The business inbox has virtually unlimited storage, and makes it effortless to combine, organize, and manage voicemail from both the office and cell phone in one place.
- Voicemail to Email. Business users can have their voicemail sent to email, along with wav or mp3 attachments, in a format of their choosing, as well as being able to automatically send carbon copies of important voicemails to colleagues or assistants to handle for them.
- VIP Treatment. The business service is free of advertising, includes readily accessible professional support, and provides a permanent access number that can be given out directly to clients and customers if desired.
Business users can optionally add extremely accurate, human-operator voice to text services, allowing them to save time by reading their messages.
"More and more business communication is taking place on cell phones, leading to the need for professional call management solutions on those devices," said Quilici. "YouMail is an easy to set up call management fix that ensures you never have to answer the phone again unless you really want or need to."
The YouMail application has previously been praised as a timesaving business tool in Timothy Ferris' bestseller, The 4-Hour Workweek. For more information about "YouMail Business Edition," please visit http://www.youmail.com/offer/pro.
