“Phantasmic has been installed successfully on our game testers’ Android phones, and they’re working out the final kinks before it’s made available for download on Google Play,” said OBJE CEO Paul Watson. “The game already looks and sounds amazing. We can’t wait for gamers to get their first taste of our upcoming slate of releases.”
Novalon Games, the Phantasmic developer founded by the joint venture of Obscene Interactive and Source Street, LLC, anticipates that Phantasmic will become available for download on the Google Play store before the end of the first quarter, 2013. It’s a free-to-play, steampunk-influenced “autorunner” game carefully optimized for the global mobile marketplace.
Novalon Games has also applied for Apple App Store distribution for Phantasmic. It’s the first of two mobile gaming apps the developer has penciled in release this year, with more games for mobile and desktop platforms set to follow.
Potential investors and gamers can now play the beta version of the game’s first level at www.novalongames.com/phantasmic-demo. Follow important development updates on Facebook at www.facebook.com/pages/Novalon-Games/324161554346500?fref=ts.
