Today, ParkMe, the leading provider of real-time parking data and ABM Parking Services, one of the largest operators of parking facility services in the U.S., announced a partnership to provide drivers with real-time occupancy and rate information from ABM facilities. This will give U.S. drivers immediate access to critical parking information on both the newly developed ABM app as well as ParkMe’s mobile app solution, in-dash navigation, and GPS systems.
ABM will provide ParkMe with data at nearly 2,000 parking facilities nationwide. In addition to real-time occupancy information, drivers will have access to pricing, hours of operation, payment types accepted and entry points for all ABM facilities. San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago are just a few of the major cities that offer ParkMe and ABM's data integration.
With consistent growth of an already $23-30 billion dollar parking industry, companies like ParkMe are using innovation and digital technologies to enhance drivers’ overall experiences. “Our partnership with ABM is an essential milestone not just for ParkMe, but for the entire parking industry,” said Alex Israel, co-founder and chief operating officer of ParkMe. “Integrating our parking solution with world-class operators such as ABM allows our data to be online and actionable, enhancing ParkMe’s services and helping our efforts to ease parking and urban congestion problems for drivers across the country.”
The data is relayed to ParkMe users through its branded and white label mobile apps as well as its partnerships with GPS and in-car navigation systems. ParkMe has developed a proprietary application for ABM users that highlights their locations, showing real-time availability and rate information while offering unique customer benefits. Drivers can now download this free custom ABM-branded application, giving them direct parking information sourced from the company.
“ABM’s incomparable U.S. presence serves more drivers in top-tier cities where parking is a major concern,” Mark Muglich, President, ABM said. “Partnering with ParkMe provides our customers greater access and visibility to real-time lot occupancy information. This is a huge step toward making the search for parking a less stressful endeavor.”
Currently, millions of drivers access parking data in more than 500 cities directly through ParkMe’s branded mobile apps and its partnerships with GPS and in-car navigation systems.
