TEMECULA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 02/25/13 -- My Big Fat Greek Restaurant Temecula is now putting finishing touches on construction and conducting a job fair to ready itself for a mid-March 2013 soft opening, to be followed by a Grand Opening ribbon cutting and celebration to feature live music later this Spring.
To get a jump on tasting some of the restaurant's authentic Greek cuisine, My Big Fat Greek Restaurant has joined forces with Keyways Vineyard & Winery to participate and the March 2nd & 3rd World of Wine celebration where local winegrowers present new barrels of Spring 2013 wines and the restaurant will showcase some of its offerings.
Keyways General Manager Joe Dilullo said, "We welcome opportunities to pair our wine with excellent cuisine such as that of My Big Fat Greek Restaurant Temecula that we welcome wholeheartedly to our community."
My Big Fat Greek Restaurant Temecula executive chef, Bryan Sadler will join the restaurant's Vice President, Marketing, Milena Rimassa at Keyways to present pairings of Chef Sadler's election with Keyways new barrel and other wines including Keyways' Valley Cuvee du Nord, Movedra and Roussanne. Dilullo and Rimassa -- both of Italian ancestry -- connected over love of Greek food and Southern European wine and look forward to working together in catering, wine pairing dinners, live events and other ventures that melds Keyways wines with My Big Fat Greek Restaurant Temecula's culinary offerings.
Also on Saturday, March 3rd, My Big Fat Greek Restaurant Temecula will participate in the 47th Annual Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce Annual Gala as one of the event sponsors. The gala, to be held at the Pechanga Resort & Casino, will honor businesses and individuals who excel in community contribution.
My Big Fat Greek Restaurant Temecula was developed by Beverly Hills-based Bear Industries, headed by CEO and founder Reeve BenAron who is also developing other hospitality-based business in the Inland Empire, North San Diego and Orange counties.
As part of the Bear Industries-developed My Big Fat Greek Restaurant franchises, BenAron has tapped the services of entertainment industry veteran Milena Rimassa to spearhead community immersion, marketing and planned giving in the communities to be served by the restaurants.
BenAron envisions not only creating jobs and contributing to expansion of economic growth in and around Temecula and the surrounding areas, but in tapping into opportunities for co-branding and co-promotion of existing industries. In the case of Temecula, My Big Fat Greek Restaurant is working closely with the Temecula Winegrower's Association and Rebeaux Steyn's Temecula Valley Winery Management as well as individual winery owners to building a strong restaurant-vintner relationships with any eye to build awareness for local wines and to pair the healthy, abundant and authentic Greek foods prepared by My Big Fat Greek Restaurant Temecula with local wines.
Among live music and other community-centric events, My Big Fat Greek Restaurant provides corporate catering services; is the only Temecula restaurant to offer an iPhone and Android app to facilitate take out and catering orders; and, will kick off its planned giving program at the Friday, May 17th Ribbon Cutting ceremony scheduled for 11:30AM that day to be followed by half-price drinks until 6PM at which time live music and dinner will be offered with a portion of the proceeds to benefit Jacob's House, Boys' & Girls' Club of Southwest County and the Greek America Foundation.
My Big Fat Greek Restaurant Temecula is a proud member of both the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce and Murrieta Chamber of Commerce, Young Valley Professionals, Women in Film with an eye to participate in as many possible service-orientated organization in and around Temecula as possible.
In addition to My Big Fat Greek Restaurant Temecula, Bear Industries is expanding its Greek restaurant franchise into La Verne, Huntington Beach, North San Diego County and other locations. It also seeks to develop a venue and micro brewery in Old Town Temecula.
