MDM vendor Airwatch this week announced a $200 million round A of investment.  Wow!  There is certainly a lot of attention being paid the MDM space this year at the MWC 2013.  Airwatch has a $200 million booth, not literally, but you could play a good football game in it.

Another very intriguing private MDM vendor is the company Soti, www.soti.net.  My team used them back in 2003 to remotely access and manage rugged devices in the field.  They have continued to grow and evolve into a very successful MDM vendor that is white labeled by about 70% of the rugged handheld computer manufacturers today.  They also have very cool consumer device capabilities.  They have many features unique to them such as the ability to remotely manage apps on iPhone apps and Android apps.  Here is an interview with their Director of Business Development, Shash Anand.
