Think you’re a digital rock star? Ready for your spotlight? If you’re up to the challenge, you could score the soundtrack to the next addictive gaming app from OBJ Enterprises (OTCBB: OBJE) and Novalon Games.
In a bold creative choice, OBJE announced today that the music in the company’s forthcoming gaming app, Stupid Pixels, will be chosen from tunes submitted by up-and-coming composers online. Developed in conjunction with OBJE’s partner, Novalon Games, Stupid Pixels is a silly, stylish puzzler—something akin to an arcade-retro Angry Birds. The game will be the second of two new gaming apps that the company expects to release this year.
“We’re looking for melodies that are playful and memorable, good enough that gamers can listen to them for hours without getting irritated,” said OBJE CEO Paul Watson. “Stupid Pixels is going to be a landmark release for both our company and the winning composer. We can’t wait to hear what they come up with.”
Throughout the creative process, OBJE has worked to give gamers a voice in the app’s development—including soliciting feedback on the game’s early testing version, which is available to play online now at www.novalongames.com. To enter your original composition in the Novalon Games Music Challenge, visit the developer’s website at www.novalongames.com/novalon-games-music-challenge.
