BEIJING, March 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Aiseesoft is pleased to announce a major update to its MXF Converter for Mac, which adopted a new kernel to enhance its ability to decode MXF files and supports Panasonic P2 MXF video format. It is a good P2 MXF conversion software to back up footage shot on a P2 card on Panasonic's professional video recorders to a computer.
P2 MXF files are Operational Pattern Atom (OP-Atom), where each track of video and audio is held separately. The P2 uses a 6-character identifier in the filename of all its related files. Aiseesoft MXF Converter for Mac ensures related tracks are kept together and recognizes all the related audio tracks when loading video files.
This wonderful Mac MXF conversion software has an intuitive and user-friendly interface, and is easy to use. Apart from converting MXF recordings shot by Panasonic P2 camcorders, it can also convert MXF files from Canon XF series cameras, and optimizes profiles (Apple ProRes, DVCPRO, HDV, Avid DNxHD, XDCAM, and Apple InterMediate Codec) for editing in Final Cut Pro, iMovie, Final Cut Express, Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer, and others. On the other hand, it is able to convert MXF file to MP4, MOV, AVI, WMV, 3GP, and other 2D/3D formats on the Mac as well as making MXF recordings playable on the iPad 4, iPad mini, iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy S, and other Android devices.
