Kingston Digital, Inc., the Flash memory affiliate of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, today announced it has won two distinguished awards at the 6th annual Reseller Choice Awards. With more than 500 vendors participating, Kingston® won awards for Best Flash Drive and Best Memory. There were a total of 82 categories with over 16,000 votes placed before the awards were handed out in a ceremony on January 30, 2013, in Unionville, Canada.
For the past five years, e-ChannelNews and ecnTV has solicited the entire Canadian reseller channel to vote for their favorite vendors and distributors in a multitude of categories. It is the largest channel survey in Canada as 500 vendors are nominated every year. The awards are a way for vendors and distributors to provide feedback, connect with peers and exchange ideas. More information about the Reseller Choice Awards can be found here, and complete Reseller Choice Award results are here.
Kingston won the 2012 Reseller Choice Award for Best Flash Drive (all USBs) and Best Memory (all Flash and DRAM products). Kingston’s USB lineup includes a variety of drives such as the award-winning DataTraveler® SE9, and high-performance drives such as the DataTraveler HyperX 3.0. Kingston’s Flash product portfolio also includes solid-state drives, a wireless drive to expand storage content for Apple and Android devices, and Flash memory cards. Its DRAM family includes Branded or system-specific memory, ValueRAM® for white-box systems and HyperX® for performance-minded users including consumers, gamers and enthusiasts. "This is our sixth year giving out this reseller award to our most distinguished vendors,” said Julian Lee, President, TechnoPlanet Productions Inc. “If you win a Reseller Choice Award, it says that the channel appreciates what you are doing and they think you are the best of the best! It is also a great opportunity to connect with your fellow peers and exchange ideas.”
"We are honored to win such a great award," said David Kuo, general manager, Canada, Kingston. “The Canadian Team works diligently throughout the year to provide the best products and service possible. It is nice to be recognized for it.”
Kingston is celebrating 25 years in the memory industry. The company was founded on October 17, 1987, and has grown to become the largest third-party memory manufacturer in the world.
