POMONA, CA -- (Marketwire) -- 03/18/13 -- The new season reveals fresh beginnings at McKinley's Grille. The month of March is brimming with new fare for the restaurant, including brunch menus and the first Table-to-Farm dinner of 2013. Staying true to the market cuisine standard, each new item is made with organic ingredients plucked fresh from Fairplex's own backyard at McKinley's Farm.
Every Sunday, locals and Sheraton Fairplex Hotel guests alike are invited to a champagne brunch at McKinley's Grille. Dishes are created using seasonal fruits, vegetables and herbs, all gathered fresh from the urban farm. Options include Belgian waffles, sausage, apple wood smoked bacon, rare seared albacore tuna, made-to-order omelets, pastries and a wide selection of salad and fruit.
Continuing the al fresco experience is the first Table-to-Farm dinner of the year on Friday, March 22. Per tradition, tables are set up at McKinley's Farm, where guests enjoy a dinner created from the innovative mind of Chef David Teig. Using a selection of fruits, vegetables and herbs from the urban farm, he cooks as guests watch. Meals are often paired with award-winning wines and spirits from the Los Angeles International Wine Competition and Spirits Competition. This month's menu will feature Balvenie scotch, hosted by mixologist Brian Summers.
Rounding up the spring celebrations is Easter brunch. From a menu created especially for the holiday comes a variety of breakfast dishes, salads, meats, pastas, desserts and a special Kids Buffet. Brunch is served from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
