NEW YORK, March 28, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The Call Back comedy podcast recently celebrated its 50th episode with special guest Tim Herlihy!  So look for that on iTunes — it's a fantastic in-depth conversation with the man who co-wrote most of the Happy Madison films with Adam Sandler.

Some of the world's most famous and successful comedians/actors/writers are interviewed each week and include personalities such as; Chris Rock, Garry Shandling, Tom Green, Allen Covert, Aziz Ansari, Bobby Collins, The Lucas Bros., Mystro Clarke, Wali Collins, Wil Sylvince — just to name a few.  The podcast interviews are available through iTunes at: http://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/the-call-back/id488540333

Joseph Vecsey is an up and coming comedic talent in the NY scene, while working his way through the industry for the past three years he has opened for many headliners to the likes of; Jim Breuer, Susie Essman, Godfrey, and Donnell "Ashy Larry" Rawlings.  Vecsey can be found performing stand up all over the country — he currently hosts his annual exclusive All Star Comedy Show at The Bay Street Theatre in the Hampton's.  Most recently, Vecsey has gone international by hosting the sold out Laugh-Out-Loud comedy show in Bermuda. Besides his comedy and writing skills, Vecsey holds a passion for basketball and shooting short sketches.  To check out his work, visit his YouTube channel at: http://www.youtube.com/user/Josephv11

Some might find it surprising that as a comedian, Vecsey has also developed creative streetball skills that rival professional players.  Vecsey's favorite basketball highlights include touring with the And1 Mix Tape Players, and shooting hoops recreationally with Adam Sandler and the Happy Madison crew on set.

Vecsey takes a unique approach to the format of his podcast in the sense that he doesn't always rely on the traditional studio atmosphere for the recording — there is no forum that dictates where he will hold the interview.  Vecsey goes to great lengths to engage his guests in their familiar surroundings even if it means going to their hotel room or home.  Feeling relaxed and comfortable, guests share personal experiences and freely speak their mind; this ultimately gives the listening audience a more intimate glimpse into the psyche and private life of each guest.  Former Saturday Night Live cast member Dean Edwards claims, "Vecsey is a class act and funny cat that has no problem removing his shoes when entering your home."  Vecsey occasionally co-hosts Dean Edwards' podcast, "The Futhamuckin Protocol," which can also be found on iTunes.

As good as Vecsey is with the interview, the challenge of replicating the audio quality found in the studio rests on the shoulders of his production partner Michael Biunno.  As audio engineer, Biunno's expertise complements and enhances the podcast interview driven by Vecsey.  Biunno has won numerous awards for sound in film & TV — the two hit it off immediately when they met at Brooklyn College's film department where Biunno was a production major and Vecsey studied screenwriting.  The two make a great team as they venture high and low to land and showcase great guests.  The Call Back podcast is sure to bring laughter to an ever growing audience, as it continues to blaze a trail and raise the bar with its next 50 memorable episodes.
