Steve Jobs' Secret to Success Influences Matt Argall's Business Philosophy

MIAMI, FL -- (Marketwired) -- 05/22/14 -- Steve Jobs is known as a role model and inspiration for entrepreneurs and innovators around the globe, for startups as well as for seasoned businessmen, in his homeland, the United States, as well as in the rest of the world. In honor of Jobs' outstanding talents, the Forbes magazine published a list of "The 7 Secrets of Steve Jobs," an enumeration that sums up and explains what made the charismatic marketer such a successful pioneer in his field. Talking to Matt Argall, a renowned entrepreneur from Florida who has made himself a name way beyond his home state, it becomes apparent, how relevant Jobs' wisdom still is when you want to take your business out of your garage and onto the big markets.

"I think every entrepreneur, from the owner of a corner shop to industry leaders, can learn something from Steve Jobs," says Matt Argall. "His career is a great example of how courage to try something new and passion for what you are doing can get you to the top." The Forbes magazine apparently agrees and listed 'passion' as number one of Job's secrets, which was the driving force behind his great innovations. Passion alone will not make you a world-renowned industry leader though. According to Forbes -- and Steve Jobs -- it is important to leave your mark through what you are doing and make a difference in the world; be bold enough to put your foot down and say 'no' when you do not believe in an idea; always strive for the best, not the mediocre; never stop learning; and always, always care about your customers."

Matt Argall especially agrees with the last item on the list. For him, customer-friendly products and high-quality customer service have always been a top priority, no matter if the customers are private individuals or a business, and regardless of the industry or country he is working in. "Satisfied customers are the key to our success," reveals Argall. "You can have the best product in the world and sell it at a great prize. If your customers don't believe in you and don't trust you, no branding or marketing strategy can help you to be truly successful."

One of the challenges that Matt Argall points out is to adapt yourself to different demographics and follow different approaches to win over customers, depending on what you want to sell and where you want to sell it. And Argall would know: throughout his many years as an innovator, investor, businessman and advisor, he has explored numerous different industries, from online retail to telecommunications, from high-tech water filtration systems to the music biz. Whenever Argall sets out to follow a new idea, he keeps Steve Jobs' advice in mind to strive for something bigger. "Jobs once said 'If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on.' And that's exactly what I do."
