HyperOffice synchronizes the iPhone e-mail client with Outlook for wireless access to corporate messaging and collaboration

It calls the tools an alternative to Exchange, which iPhone doesn't support. HyperOffice synchronizes the iPhone e-mail client with Outlook for wireless access to corporate messaging and collaboration services. HyperOffice president Farzin Arsanjani observes that it's awfully hard for people to use the iPhone for business without native support for Exchange. Out-of-the-box, iPhone supports the consumer-y Gmail and Yahoo Mail but only connects with Exchange via the direct IMAP/SMTP/POP3 protocols that are typically blocked by corporate firewalls. HyperShare migrates Outlook contacts, calendars and e-mail folders reportedly in minutes, then automatically delivers e-mail to the e-mail application built into the iPhone, with support for folders, attachments, documents and tasks. HyperOffice says replies and new messages are relayed back to Outlook or the corporate Exchange server. HyperOffice needs no software on the corporate network. The beta includes a 30-day free trial of HyperOffice. LATEST iPHONE STORIES
